Live Catalogue allows you to customize our online catalogue by:
Marking items as Favourites
Adding nicknames, aliases, or common trade names in the Search Terms field of a catalogue item speeds up ordering and quoting
Fitment times are where you store the estimated time it takes to fit any item
Note: These 3 fields can be automatically copied from Simpro. See Importing Simpro data.
How to add your Favourites, Search Terms and Fitment times to any catalogue item
From the Catalogue search results screen simply click on the item card to display the details screen for that item.
This Detail screen is where you can add Search terms, Fitment times and tag as a Favourite

Search terms:
Enter alternative part numbers, names or extra descriptions to assist in locating items more quickly when performing a local catalogue search.
Note: These fields are automatically saved when you exit the screen popup
Favourites
You can limit the catalogue search to only those items you have flagged as Favourites.
Simply click on the Show Favourites checkbox
Now when you enter a new search it will be restricted to your list of Favourite items.
Search terms
You may wish to easily search for items that have different descriptions but a similar use, for example, a powerpoint can also be referred to as a GPO or Outlet. Let's try this as an example
Enter any of these 3 words into the search bar, and we will return the item you entered the search terms for.
