"..Simpro uses cost centres to separate operational costs and operating services within your business for reporting purposes."

Allowing for Sections and Cost centres

If the Quote/Job, you have selected, is made up of 2 or more Cost Centres then you will need to tell Sparky into which Cost Centre items should be inserted.

Note: For project Jobs there may also be 1 or more "Sections" that contain Cost Centres

So that you can add items, from Sparky, to the correct areas of any Quote or Job you will be presented with a screen that allows you to assign any material item to the correct "Cost centre"

Select one or more items and 2. click on the "Assign Cost Centre" button

A new popup window will appear

Step 1. From the drop down list, choose the "Cost Centre" you wish to assign these items to .

Note: The list only contains the Cost Centres that have been added to the Quote or Job in Simpro. It is not a list of all available Cost Centres in Simpro

Step 2. Then adjust the quantity, if necessary, to be added to the selected Cost Centre.

Note: If the material item has a quantity of 2 or more; you can assign the same item number of items into multiple Cost Centres.

Step 3. Click on the "Assign" button

You then repeat this process to assign other materials to a different Cost Centre.

Once you have completed the process you will see a summary page appear. One you are satisfied you simply click on the "Send Products to Simpro" button.
