Overview:

My Jobs presents a list view to manage Jobs, shown below:

ps. Annotations in screenshots (numbers/boxes) are used as a reference for the related descriptions that follow (e.g. #1, #2 etc).

Descriptions:

  • #1 - The Job Management > Jobs menu selection presents My Jobs, which is a list view to manage Jobs using elements described below

  • #2 - The header row provides useful high-level information about each Job

  • #3 - Use the +Button to create a 'New Job'

  • #4 - Use the Search &/or Filter options to find or shortlist Jobs

  • #5 - These are the different Job Status values. A new Job always starts with 'Unassigned' as the status. The status can be changed manually by clicking on a value and selecting an option from the drop down list. Different options are presented (shown in the inset) depending on the initial Job status value.

    Status values are also changed by the system depending on workflows. For example, if you are in an 'Unassigned' Job and you schedule the Job then the Job status changes to 'Assigned' etc.

  • #6 - Jobs can be selected by the checkboxes and then the following buttons become active, allowing you to Clone, Delete or Archive the selected Job(s), respectively.

    Quick Tip: Suggest to routinely Archive Jobs that have served their immediate purpose, so that you can maintain a focus on current/active Jobs.

  • #7 - When the 'Show Archived' checkbox is selected it will list the Jobs that have been archived. Jobs can be archived manually or by the system depending on workflows. For example, when you convert a Quote to a Job, the Quote gets archived. Uncheck the 'Show Archived' checkbox to go back to the view of current/active Jobs.
