Overview:

The Bell Notifications page presents a screen similar to the one below (assuming notifications have been received from a previous process). This is the go-to location for in-app notifications. Some example notifications include:

  • Quote accepted

  • Job completed

  • Job started

  • You have been assigned to a Job

ps. Annotations in screenshots (numbers/boxes) are used as a reference for the related descriptions that follow (e.g. #1, #2 etc).

Descriptions:

  • #1 - The Bell Notification icon. Clicking this icon displays the screen above. The number conveys the number of new notifications, indicated by the blue rows. Also see #4.

  • #2 - The 'Delete' Icon and the 'Archive' icon (currently shown as inactive). Once you select a row, or number of rows, via the checkbox these icons become active. You can then select either icon, and your selected rows will be deleted or archived.

  • #3 - The 'Show Archived' checkbox. Once selected the list will display previously archived notifications. Uncheck the checkbox to see current notifications.

  • #4 - This link will take you to the record that the notification is related to, which could be a quote or a job etc. On navigating to the record, the notification is now considered viewed, the blue row identifier goes and the number count reduces by one. Also see #1.
