Schedule:
You can schedule staff from this Tab by selecting open schedule and then adding choosing your staff and assigning them to the relevant task.
For the one-man-band, this provides a resource view which is handy to fill in the gaps in your schedule when you are back at home on a bigger screen. For scheduling on your phone the MyWork view is a better option.
This functionality is handy for multi-staff users if they like building a job up and seeing the staff timesheets on the go. Most multi-staff users prefer to assign and schedule a job in the Schedule screen.
Steps:
- Open Schedule
- Add Staff
- Drag and drop or click in the screen to schedule staff.
Going back to the schedule tab your job is ready for staff to record time against it.
Once a job is scheduled its status moves from Unassigned to Assigned.
Timesheets
Timesheets can be added via the timer or by going directly to timesheet entry. When you or your staff are on the road or on the tools this will be accessed via the My Work view
Timer:
- You can start, pause and stop the timer for the relevant task.
- When you stop the timer you can add a timesheet entry
- This entry can be edited.
- There is an option to add a labour line to the task
Timesheets:
- You can bypass the timer and enter a timesheet directly.
- This entry can be edited.
- There is an option to add a labour line to the task.
When you are out of the office you and your staff will enter your timesheets via the My Work view.
