My Work: On the tools or on the road - as a Business Owner.

You can schedule and work on jobs with the My Work View. This article focuses on My Work for users with full administrator privileges.

The My Work view is designed for when you are out on the road, at your Sparky supplier or on site. If you are a one-man-band, this is where you can manage your calendar.

Calendar Tab:

The Calendar Tab shows you your jobs in a familiar, calendar format and provides the following functionality:

Adding a new Job to the calendar

You can add a new job from the + button or by selecting where you would like the job to go in the calendar itself and selecting New Job.

This will generate a new job as well as scheduling it in your calendar with a screen you can fill out below.

This is a fast way to schedule a job when you are in a hurry and you can come back and work through the details later on.

Adding an existing Job

You can schedule an existing job from the + button or by selecting where you would like the job to go in the calendar itself and choosing

Adding an Activity

An activity is for non-billable work which you wish to record in your calendar (e.g. Sales, Lunch, NECA course).

You can add and/or schedule an activity from the + button or by selecting where you would like the job to go in the calendar itself and either choosing an existing activity or creating a new activity.

Generating a Purchase Order Number

You can generate a Purchase Order number for quoting at the sales counter of your Sparky Supplier by:

  • selecting the

  • selecting PO#

  • selecting the relevant Job/Taski

When you quote the Purchase Order number at the counter all materials that you have picked up will automatically be added to the Product Section of the relevant Job/Task.

Accessing the Job Card recording work onsite

By clicking on a Job in the Calendar Tab you will bring up the below cards

When you hit the + Button you will see the following options.

Click on Assigned and mark the Job in Progress

Select Schedule to populate timesheets.

All sections of the this job/task are easily accessed through the drop-down. Where you can use a timer or timesheets to book time against the job.

Accessing the Job Card to navigate to a Job and alert the customer via SMS

This functionality is covered in the GPS article.

Jobs Tab
This shows jobs in a list view.

When you select a job in this view, the Job Card will come up.

Teams Tab (multi-staff users)

Shows you the schedule for your team.

Map Tab

This functionality is covered in the GPS article.
